It usually starts small, a slow drip under the sink cabinet that nobody notices until the toe-kick swells and a smell sets in. By the time most homeowners call us for kitchen water damage restoration, the water has already worked under the cabinets and into the flooring. What looked like a minor drip turns out to have been feeding a hidden problem for weeks.

The kitchen has more water connections than any other room, which gives leaks plenty of places to start. Some announce themselves. Most do not.
Under-sink shutoffs, dishwasher supply and drain lines, and the fridge water line are the frequent offenders. We handle dishwasher leak cleanup, refrigerator leaks that spread across the floor, and kitchen sink overflow cleanup where the water runs into the cabinet base and out across the tile. Because cabinets hide so much, the damage is often bigger than what shows on the surface.
Cabinets and flooring do not dry on their own once water is trapped underneath. Particleboard cabinet boxes swell and lose strength, glued-down flooring lifts, and the subfloor stays wet long after the counters look fine. Give it enough time and mold takes hold in the dark space under the sink where nobody looks. Acting early is usually the difference between drying a section of floor and replacing cabinets.
Warped cabinet bottoms, a musty smell when you open the sink cabinet, and floors that feel soft near the dishwasher are all worth a closer look.

We find the source, stop it, and clear out standing water first. Then our technicians dry the structure with air movers and dehumidifiers, checking moisture inside cabinets, under flooring, and behind the kickboards until the readings come down. We document everything as we go, which keeps an insurance claim moving if you file one.
If cabinets, flooring, or drywall are past saving, we remove and rebuild them in house so the finished kitchen matches what you had. This is the same process behind our broader water damage restoration services, scaled to whatever your kitchen needs.
